Fingal County Council hosted the launch of the 19th edition of the Dublin Economic Monitor where it was revealed that the capital is close to full employment, with the areas of finance, insurance and real estate activities hitting all-time highs, supported by Brexit relocations.

Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Fingal has reported the largest increase in Trading Online Vouchers (TOV) applications in the last 2 years, from small businesses planning to invest in their online sales platform. 61 Fingal businesses were awarded €163,000 worth of TOV grants so far in 2019.

Over 400 female entrepreneurs attended the Fingal National Women’s Enterprise event, which highlights the success stories of women who continue to do amazing things in business, across every sector.

Such a wonderful turnout for our Festival Of Fire event in Swords Town  Park, Millennium Park Blanchardstown and Balbriggan Harbour on Halloween night. 

Mayor of Fingal, Cllr. Eoghan O’Brien, and Interim Chief Executive of Fingal County Council, AnnMarie Farrelly, were on hand to officially open two brand-new Skate Parks in Skerries and Balbriggan last Friday, 05th October.

On Thursday 3rd October 2019 the Fingal Greener Communities Awards were held in County Hall, Swords.  This important competition has over the years enhanced Fingal County Council’s relationship with residents, community groups and individuals of the county.

Swords Castle was the venue for the launch of the new Fingal County Council’s Arts Plan 2019-2025 which will set out the strategy for arts in the county for the next seven years.

Artist's Alan James Burns' VR exhibition to be experienced in the Carnegie Library. The artwork is jointly commissioned by Fingal County Council Arts Office and the European Commission’s SciArt and is funded by the Arts Council of Ireland Open Call Award.
