Creative Ireland is the Government’s Legacy Programme for Ireland 2016 – a five-year initiative, from 2017 to 2022, which places creativity at the centre of public policy. Fingal’s Culture and Creativity Strategy 2018-2022 is part of the National Creative Ireland Programme. This Strategy provides a framework for ongoing engagement between the community, creative practitioners and Fingal County Council. It supports the development of a range of creative and cultural initiatives which will provide opportunities for citizens throughout the county to realise their full creative potential. Fingal Cruinniú na nÓg 2020 Open Call
Fingal County Council is pleased to announce an open call for artists, creative practitioners, arts organisations, and creative/cultural communities to submit applications for Cruinniú na nÓg 2020 as part of the Fingal Creative Ireland Programme. This open call is for activities, performances, readings, workshops, interactive art installations, etc to take place on Saturday 13th June 2020 across the Fingal area. Events can be one off taking place on the 13th June or can be project based with the final outcome demonstrated at a free public event on the 13th June.

Fingal invites applications for Creative Fingal Project Awards 2020
As part of Fingal’s Creative Ireland Programme, the Council invites grant applications for the Creative Fingal Project Awards 2020. The fund will provide support to individuals and/or local groups, operating on a not for profit basis, for projects which promote creativity and encourage community participation in the county.
Applications are open until 28th February 2020 and will offer between €3,000 and €10,000 to projects that creatively address the themes of Community Wellbeing and Culture, Heritage, Music, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) and the Irish Language.
Centred on identity, culture and citizenship, the Creative Ireland Programme is dedicated to providing meaningful support to individuals and creative groups from all disciplines.
